Modern Langley Residence

Levi Groeneveld March 4, 2014

I recently got a call from a home-owner in Langley who wanted some photos taken of her new home. We had worked together three years ago when I shot her old home when it was going on the market, so I was interested to see what the new one had in store.

The owner has a fantastic eye for design. Her former home had a bit more of rustic, arts-and-crafts feel, so she decided to go in a modern direction for the new build. No window casings, clean lines, clerestory windows, unique finishes, etc.

There were some unique vintage pieces as well, including a giant "P" for their surname that was purchased from an old movie theatre. Combined with high ceilings and white walls, this made for an interiors photographer's dream! I had a great time making these images, and I think we ended up with a couple keepers!
